  • PEI Women's Network Website

This has been in the works for a number of months, and I'm really stoked to (unofficially) launch the brand new website for The PEI Women's Network. Please take a few moments to click through the site, get a scope of what these gals do for the community, and learn how you can get involved. Also, any feedback on the site is greatly appreciated, so get at us on facebook @peiwomensnetwork @modcreativity

  • Popular Favourites

A 2012 re-design for Popularfavourites.com. New website features not only the original podcast feed, but a new music store, merch store, and seamless integration with twitter, bandcamp, tumblr, and itunes.

  • Seaweed & Sod

These fine folks can be found on the edge of Cape Breton's Boulardrie Island, right along the Bras d'Or Lakes. Seaweedandsod.ca is another 12 eyes collaboration, with Mike taking on the web developement, while I worked the design.

  • A fresh logo for Sampson McDougall

One of my favourite projects as of late. Sampson McDougall is a law firm in Sydney, boasting half a dozen lawyers or so. They were looking for a change from the bland, traditional — or as they put it "stuffy" — logo style they, and their competitors, have been accustomed to using. Now they're freshly outfitted with a beautiful, modern wordmark.

  • Cape Breton in Black and White

Was just rooting through some random photos of Cape Breton this weekend, and found these few that I don't think were ever printed, or posted, anywhere. All three are from 2007/2008 I think.

  • Slick Business Cards

Had these bad boys printed for My Canadian Savings a few weeks ago. I love printing black on red. Looks so nice.

  • A Polaroid

Forgot I had taken this polaroid a few months back, for Michael Stanley Pottery. Expired, refrigerated polaroid from the Bronica 6x6 back. Love the tone, and the streaking … man I miss this stuff.

  • Mini Cards

I haven't printed a run of mini cards in quite a while, so it was really fun to design this really colourful batch for My Canadian Savings' summer savings campaign. Find some of these cool cards at some of My Canadian Savings' partner locations around Charlottetown, and visit them on facebook to find out more about the campaign.

  • JP-Cormier.com

Through a collaborative effort, 12eyes.ca is proud to present you the smashing new website for talented multi-instrumentalist and storyteller, JP Cormier.

  • Crown Printz Photo Booth

This is a really cool project. The photo booth is a real booth. Yep, just like the vintage analog booths you'd find in any given mall years ago, instantly printing you a strip of sequential photographs. Of course, it's digital now, but still … it's pretty rad. It was really fun working on the logo concept, as well as the pretty slick print work I got to design. Really vibrant and fun stuff.

  • Moonshine Maidens / Red Rock 'n' Roller Derby

I don't normally post much work that includes clipart, or work that generally took me less then an hour of work to complete. This will be the exception, because I can also shout out to PEI's local roller derby league, Red Rock 'n' Roller Derby. This is their first bouting season, so head over to their website, check their schedule, and show your support for local roller derby by going to a bout, buying some merch, or volunteering.

  • MCS Logo Redesign

It's been a while since I've posted any recent work, but damn … it's been busy. There's lots of new peices I need to post. Some projects are just waiting for the "right time" to roll out, so keep your peepers peeled for those.

My Canadian Savings approached me to redesign their wordmark. Some contraints included a short timeframe, re-using elements and colour, and a similar typeface. But heck, it looks pretty good to me. Hopefully get to post more print media from these fine folks as well. Soon.

  • Sprag Session CD Packaging

Really excited to have been part of this awesome debut CD by Cape Breton's Sprag Session. Although I'm not responsible for the cover illustration, or photography, I did manage to help these guys with some layout design, and some really sharp typography. Order your copy here. Check out the video of them recording "Gwanwitcha" below (care of Darcy Campbell, Shot on Site Media). And for those of your in Charlottetown, PEI, you can catch these guys at The Old Triangle, May 20th, 2012.

  • Smooth Cards

I love seeing new prints. Especially when it's another piece for Waxit. These are some nice, clean, and smooth (plastic) business cards.

// Client Feedback

"Everything design I've seen come out of this guy has been brilliant. I've never been dissatisfied with a design from Josh. "
